“Mad Men’s Jon Hamm as a North Dakota preacher and sheriff who believes he’s above the law, Juno Temple as a seemingly normal midwestern housewife with a dark past, Jennifer Jason Leigh as her mother-in-law and the “Queen of Debt”, and Dave Foley as an eyepatch-wearing lawyer are among the characters that will populate the fifth year of the Calgary-shot anthology series Fargo.
FX released the first images from the series last week for Season 5, which will debut on Nov. 21.
The new series wrapped production in the spring after shooting in Calgary and the surrounding area. The series, created by Noah Hawley, has been nominated for 55 Emmy Awards since premiering in 2014. The first three seasons were shot in Alberta while Season 4 was filmed in Chicago. The darkly comic anthology crime series features new characters, storylines and settings every season.”
